Israeli soldiers invaded, on Sunday evening, the village of al-‘Arqa, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, before storming and ransacking many shops, leading to protests.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers invaded and violently searched many shops, causing excessive damage, before inspecting surveillance recordings, in addition to interrogating the shop owners.

They added that many Palestinian youngsters protested the invasion, and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets.

Medical sources said several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation and received the needed treatment by local medics.
