Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Friday at dawn, several Palestinian homes in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem, and Silwan town, south of the All-Aqsa mosque, violently searched them and kidnapped seventeen young men, before moving them to a number of detention and interrogation centers.
Ala al-Haddad, a member of the Jerusalem Detainees’ Committee, said the kidnapped have been identified as Ibrahim Natsha, Ma’moun Gheith, Mahmoud Shaweesh, Ahmad Shaweesh, Mohammad al-Bayyoumi, Omar Za’anin, Abdullah Da’na, Mohammad Arafa, Abada Najeeb, Mohammad Abu Farha, Ahmad ar-Razem, Mohammad Najeeb, Saed Asaliyya and Laith Gheith.
Al-Haddad added that the soldiers also kidnapped a young man, identified as Shadi Seder, while he was walking in Bab al-‘Amoud area.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said the soldiers also kidnapped two young men, identified as Sami Rajabi and Mustafa Hashlamoun.
On Thursday evening, a Palestinian man was moderately injured after Israeli soldiers repeatedly assaulted him in Ein al-Louza neighborhood, in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
