The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers have kidnapped, Friday, two Palestinians from Jenin and Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
The Jenin office of the PPS said the soldiers kidnapped Majd Ba’jawi, after invading his home and violently searching it, in Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin.
It added that Ba’jawi is a Journalist and Arabic studies student at the Arab American University, in Jenin.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers kidnapped one Palestinian near the Chain Gate, in the Old City, while he was heading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers.
The young man, who remained unidentified until the time of this reported, was moved to an interrogation center in Jerusalem.
On Friday at dawn, the soldiers invaded several homes in Ein Beit al-Maa’, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and Tubas city. in central West Bank, and kidnapped two Palestinians.
In Gaza, Israeli navy ships open fire on Palestinian fishing boats in the northern part of the coastal region.
The Israeli army also fired six artillery shells into an open area, near Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The army said it fired the shells at “suspicious targets.”
