On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man in the At-Tabaqa area in Doura town, southwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Several Israeli military vehicles invaded the town, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

Medical sources at the Doura Governmental Hospital said the soldiers killed a young man, Anas Nasser Abu Atwan, 30, after shooting him with live fire.

Following his death, a general strike was declared in Doura and the surrounding communities. It is worth mentioning that Anas was a newlywed who got married nearly a month ago.

Furthermore, a Palestinian man, Mohammad Farid Thawabta, 51, succumbed to serious wounds he suffered a day earlier after Israeli soldiers shot him in Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.
