On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Ramallah, in the central part of the occupied West Bank, stormed and ransacked many homes, leading to protests, and seriously shot a young man.

Media sources said the army invaded several parts of Ramallah, especially the Al-Irsal Street, Ein Misbah neighborhood, and Ramallah At-Tahta, before storing and ransacking many homes.

Many Palestinians protested the invasions before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man, Bashar Wahba, with a live round in the head, while standing on the rooftop of his home.

They added that the young man was rushed to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, suffering life-threatening wounds, and was immediately admitted to surgery.

During the home invasions and violent searches, the soldiers abducted former political prisoners and Birzeit University student, Layan Kayed, from her home in Ein Misbah Street in the city.

She was among at least fifteen Palestinians, including two women, the soldiers abducted from several parts of the West Bank.
