On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian and abducted another during confrontations in the in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

On Sunday afternoon, large army force invaded the Shu’fat camp and the family home of Fadi Jamjoum, 37, in the Shu’fat camp.


Fadi Jamjoum, 37, was shot dead on Friday, after he allegedly carried out a shooting attack that killed two Israelis and injured four others in southern Israel.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers and engineers took measurements of the family home to prepare for demolition.

On Sunday night, occupation forces invaded the Shu’fat camp and closed the Shu’fat military roadblock, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths, while the army fired live ammunition, shooting one young man in the foot.

Furthermore, the army abducted, late Sunday night, an unidentified Palestinian young man from the Shu’fat camp, while Palestinian youths lit firecrackers to resist the incursion.


Israeli forces fired concussion grenades, tear gas canisters, and sprayed waste water at citizens’ homes and vehicles.
