Israeli forces shot a Palestinian woman, on Thursday night, after invading the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

Rami Hamamreh, the director of the Husan Village Council, told WAFA that occupation soldiers stormed the eastern entrance to the village, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Hamamreh added that the soldiers randomly fired live rounds, shooting a 20-year-old woman in the abdomen with live bullet fragments while she was closing the window of her home.

He said that Israeli forces ordered commercial shop owners to close their businesses in the area.

Earlier, occupation forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, which triggered protests from local Palestinians.

Media sources said that soldiers stormed the western area of the town and fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.
