On Saturday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Ezariya town, east of occupied East Jerusalem, and shot a young Palestinian man during ensuing protests.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the town and drove through various neighborhoods, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man with two live rounds in the thigh and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
