Israeli forces, stationed at the entrance to the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, shot and injured five Palestinian youths who protested the army presence.
Local Palestinians hurled rocks at soldiers, who fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at them, shooting and injuring five citizens in their lower extremities, with live ammunition.
Medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that two of the injured young men were treated at the scene, while three were transported to a health center for further medical treatment.

Earlier Sunday, following the funeral procession for the slain Palestinian child, Milad Munther Al-Ra’i, 16, Israeli forces closed the entrance to the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
Soldiers prevented anyone from entering or leaving the camp, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths, while the army fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at them. No injuries were reported at that time.
