Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men, and injured many others during incursions into many areas of the Nablus and Jenin governorates in the northern occupied West Bank.

In the predawn hours of Monday, a large army force invaded the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank. 


Soldiers conducted extensive home invasions, while military vehicles stormed various neighborhoods of the city, sparking protests.

Armed resistance fighters exchanged heavy fire with occupation forces especially at the Martyrs’ Roundabout and Palestine Street in the city centre, and detonated explosive devices targeting military vehicles.


Additional reinforcements were sent in to the city while reconnaissance drones flew in the airspace above the city.


During the confrontations, the army shot a Palestinian young man in the back with live ammunition.

Meanwhile, south of the city, occupation forces invaded Beita town, stormed and occupied an ambulance center, turning it in to a military post.

On Monday afternoon Israeli soldiers stormed the town of Tal, southwest of Nablus and proceeded to invade and search several citizens’ homes, while local Palestinian youths resisted the incursion.

Soldiers responded by firing live ammunition, shooting a 21-year-old man in the abdomen with live ammunition, before PRCS ambulance crews transported him to hospital.

It was added that another young man was struck in the foot with bullet fragments, and was treated at the scene by PRCS crews.

Furthermore, soldiers invaded the villages Burin and Einabus south of the city, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers fired tear gas canisters towards those who resisted the invasion, causing many citizens to sustain inhalation injuries.

On Monday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Zababdeh, southeast of Jenin in the northern West Bank, storming many neighborhoods, leading to protests.

Soldiers also stormed Rummanah village, to the northwest, invaded many neighborhoods, and conducted a search campaign

On Monday evening, the army invaded the village of Deir Abu Da’if, east of Jenin in the northern West Bank, triggering protests among local youths.

The army opened fire with tear gas canisters and caused many to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Soldiers also stormed Ya’bad town, west of the city in addition to the villages of Beit Qad and Jalbun to the east, erecting military roadblocks, stopping vehicles and inspecting citizens’ identification.


Furthermore, occupation troops invaded al-Araqa village west of the city, and conducted a wide-scale search campaign.

Moreover, Israeli police abducted a resident of Ya’bad town, Yazan Abu Salah, while he was present inside the state of Israel.

On Monday night, soldiers abducted Ahmed Mahmoud Zakarneh and Aboud Abu Jamhour at the Salem military camp, northwest of Jenin after being summoned for an intelligence review.
