Eight Palestinians were killed and at least 29 others were injured on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces intensified attacks across the Gaza Strip, in continued violations of the ceasefire agreement announced on October 11, 2025.

Medical teams and humanitarian agencies reported a sharp escalation in drone strikes, artillery fire, and air attacks targeting residential areas, public roads, and refugee camps.

Medical sources confirmed that seven Palestinians, including five police officers, were killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of civilians in the al‑Tuwam area north of Gaza City. Several others were wounded in the same strike.

In the southern Gaza Strip, four Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a bicycle on the coastal road in the al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.

Two additional Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli forces east of the al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while two more were wounded in the Halawa area of Jabalia town in the northern part of the Strip after being targeted by an Israeli drone.

Hospitals in central Gaza reported nine injuries arriving at al‑Awda Hospital following two separate Israeli attacks in the al‑Bureij and an‑Nuseirat refugee camps.

Israeli warplanes also destroyed a home belonging to the Abu Seif family in the Nuseirat refugee camp, causing extensive damage to surrounding homes.

Emergency crews later recovered the body of an unidentified Palestinian from the Salahuddin area, with medical staff indicating the individual likely died within the past three days.

Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled areas northeast of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and a young man was injured when an Israeli drone dropped an explosive device on an‑Nuzha Street in Jabalia.

Civil Defense teams stated that they continue to face severe obstacles in recovering bodies trapped under the rubble, citing the lack of heavy machinery, reliance on basic hand tools, massive accumulations of debris, and the presence of unexploded ordnance that makes access to many areas extremely dangerous.

Restrictions on movement and delays in coordination further hinder search and rescue operations across the devastated coastal enclave.

Medical authorities reported that eight Palestinians were killed and 29 were injured during the past 48 hours.

They warned that additional victims remain under collapsed buildings and in open areas where ambulance and rescue teams cannot reach due to ongoing Israeli fire and the absence of safe access routes.

UNRWA stated in its most recent update that repeated Israeli strikes in civilian areas “continue to endanger families, impede humanitarian access, and obstruct the movement of emergency teams,” noting that several of its shelters in northern and central Gaza sustained damage this week.

The agency warned that ongoing ceasefire violations pose “a direct threat to the fragile humanitarian response” and described the situation as “extremely volatile.”

OCHA reported on Friday that Israeli military activity has significantly restricted the ability of rescue teams to reach collapsed structures, adding that unexploded ordnance and repeated drone strikes have created “an increasingly hazardous environment for civilians and humanitarian workers.”

The agency emphasized that the number of people trapped under rubble is likely higher than current estimates due to the inability of teams to access several affected areas.
