Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions, home break‑ins, abductions, assaults, and movement restrictions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Friday, targeting communities in Hebron, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, Jenin, Salfit, Nablus, Tubas, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and occupied Jerusalem.
Hebron – Southern West Bank:
Israeli forces invaded several areas of Hebron, breaking into homes and abducting three residents.
Media sources reported that soldiers invaded the southern neighborhoods of the city and abducted Fayez Rajabi after breaking into and searching his home, causing damage to its contents.
In Yatta city, south of Hebron, an Israeli military vehicle rammed a Palestinian car before soldiers surrounded it and detained the Palestinians inside.
In Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, soldiers invaded several neighborhoods, broke into multiple homes, searched them extensively, and abducted Abdul‑Hamid al‑Froukh.
From Khursa, southwest of Hebron, Israeli forces abducted former political prisoner Mansour al‑Shahatit after breaking into his home and destroying property.
Al‑Shahatit was released in 2021 after spending nearly 17 years in Israeli prisons, during which he was subjected to severe torture that left long‑term physical and psychological harm.
Separately, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian residents east of Hebron in the Khallet al‑Natesh area of Jabal Zuhair, injuring a 20‑year‑old man with stones. He was transferred to hospital for treatment.
Nablus – Northern West Bank:
Israeli forces invaded Salem, east of Nablus, deploying several military vehicles, patrolling streets, firing tear gas and stun grenades, and installing a flying military roadblock inside the village while inspecting residents’ IDs and vehicles.
In Qabalan, south of Nablus, soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas during another invasion.
On Thursday night, an illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizer rammed his car into a Palestinian civilian in Nablus, causing multiple injuries. The Palestinian man was forced to jump aside at the last moment in an attempt to avoid a direct, head‑on ramming.
Qalqilia – Northwestern West Bank:
Israeli forces invaded the Naqqar neighborhood of Qalqilia, breaking into homes and searching them.
In Wadi Qana, east of Qalqilia, soldiers detained and interrogated many Palestinians for extended periods.
Ramallah – Central West Bank:
Israeli forces abducted Najeeb Hassan al‑Khatib from Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, after breaking into and searching his home.
In the evening, soldiers invaded Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, firing live ammunition while patrolling several neighborhoods. No abductions were reported.
Medical teams from the Palestinian Red Crescent in Ramallah treated two young men shot with live ammunition—one in the abdomen and one in the leg—during an Israeli invasion of al‑Jalazone refugee camp.
Also, Israeli forces installed a flying military roadblock at the entrance to Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, stopping vehicles and inspecting passengers’ IDs, severely disrupting movement.
Salfit – Central West Bank:
Israeli soldiers abducted Omar Yousef Odah from Deir Ballut town, after stopping him in the southwestern area of the az-Zawiya town, west of Salfit.
Bethlehem:
Israeli forces surrounded worshippers inside the Abu Bakr al‑Siddiq Mosque in Husan, west of Bethlehem, after invading the village and closing its eastern entrance.
Soldiers prevented worshippers from leaving after Friday prayers and fired stun grenades in the area. Several residents were beaten, and large numbers of soldiers deployed along the main road.
In al‑Khader, south of Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the town and deployed near the main road without reporting abductions.
Also, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by Israeli forces, invaded the Solomon’s Pools area south of Bethlehem under heavy military deployment.
Occupied Jerusalem:
A Palestinian worker was shot in the leg by Israeli forces near the Annexation Wall in ar‑Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, while attempting to cross to reach his workplace using a ladder.
Thousands of Palestinian laborers resort to climbing the Wall or searching for gaps in its structure because Israel severely restricts access through official crossings, often denying permits or subjecting workers to hours‑long delays, arbitrary closures, and repeated harassment.
With unemployment and poverty rising sharply in the occupied West Bank, many workers depend on jobs inside occupied Jerusalem or Israel to support their families, leaving them with no viable alternative but to risk dangerous, informal crossing points amid escalating Israeli military violations.
The incident reflects a consistent Israeli policy of treating Palestinian laborers as open targets at known crossing points rather than regulating movement or providing safe alternatives.
Also, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers also prevented Palestinian farmers from plowing their land in the wilderness of al‑Sawahra, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Movement Restrictions Across the West Bank
The Palestinian Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission stated that, as of October, Israel maintains 916 permanent and temporary barriers across the occupied West Bank—including military roadblocks, gates, and earth mounds—243 of which were installed after 7 October 2023. These barriers severely restrict the movement of people and goods.
These incidents represent only the documented violations recorded on Friday. Residents, local officials, and rights groups stress that Israeli invasions, home break‑ins, abductions, and movement restrictions occur on a daily basis across the occupied West Bank, forming part of a continuous and ongoing pattern of military violations and restrictions on Palestinian communities.
