Israeli occupation forces carried out systematic invasions, abductions, and assaults across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank on Friday, leaving civilians injured, homes vandalized, women and youth detained, while illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers escalated attacks on farmers and Bedouin communities.
In occupied Jerusalem, demolition orders against vital livelihood structures underscored the broader colonial project aimed at dispossession and forced displacement.
Jericho
Many Israeli military vehicles invaded several neighborhoods in the city and Aqabat Jabr refugee camp before the soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Ramallah District
– Al-Am‘ari Refugee Camp: Two Palestinian civilians were shot with live ammunition in the hand and shoulder after Israeli occupation forces invaded the refugee camp at dawn. Both were transferred to Palestine Medical Complex for treatment.
– Al-Mughayyir Village: An Israeli infantry unit invaded the home of citizen Abdul-Basset Abu ‘Alia, brutally assaulted all family members, and vandalized the contents of the house.
– Silwad town: Many Israeli military vehicles invaded the town and closed streets, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bomb.
– In Shuqba town, west of Ramallah, the soldiers invaded and ransacked several shops and closes streets, leading to protests. The soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, moderately wounding a young man who was shot with a concussion grenade in the army.
Villages and towns near Ramallah, especially to the northeast and east of the city, have been subject to constant Israeli miliary violations and violations, in addition to escalating assaults by illegal Israeli colonizers who target the residents, their property and their farmlands.
Tulkarem District
– Izbat al-Jarrad: At dawn, Israeli occupation forces abducted two young men, Ibrahim ‘Odah and Mahmoud al-Yahya, after storming their homes.
– ‘Anabta Town: In the evening, Israeli forces invaded the town, deployed infantry units in the streets, especially near the municipality building and the Sikka Street, and terrorized residents with sound grenades.
They also installed a sudden military roadblock, stopping vehicles, subjecting passengers to field interrogations and abuse, though no arrests were reported.
Jenin District
– Faqqu’a and Qabatia: Israeli forces invaded both towns in the evening, fired sound grenades, and deployed infantry units in residential areas. Protests erupted, but no abductions or injuries were reported.
Hebron District
– Deir Samit: Israeli forces invaded the town, stormed the home of former political prisoner ‘Atef al-‘Awawda, vandalized its contents, and abducted his wife, after assaulting and interrogating the family in their home.
Later in the day, the soldiers invaded and ransacked Atef’s home for the second time before abducting him. Atef’s wife was later released.
Tubas District
– Al-Far‘a Refugee Camp: Israeli patrols surrounded the refugee camp, deployed infantry units inside, and fired sound grenades to intimidate residents.
– The soldiers invaded Tammun town, southeast of Tubas, before storming and ransacking several homes of former political prisoners.
– Israeli colonizers chased many Palestinians in Khirbet Ibziq village, northeast of Tubas and opened fire at them. The village has been subject to escalating violations by Israeli soldiers and colonizers.
Salfit District
– Kafr ed-Dik – al-Wajeh al-Shami (Umm Hannoun): Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers vandalized an agricultural room belonging to citizen Saadat Taher Mustafa Sa‘id, causing extensive damage.
The area has been subjected to repeated colonizer attacks aimed at dispossessing farmers of their land.
Bethlehem
The soldiers invaded Tuqu’ town, southeast of Bethlehem, and fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades.
Jerusalem District
– al-Hathroura Bedouin Community near Khan al-Ahmar: Israeli forces abducted two young men after invading the community, following assaults by illegal paramilitary colonizers against residents and shepherds.
Colonizers, frequently accompanied by Israeli soldiers, continue to restrict movement, invade homes at night, and prevent shepherds from accessing grazing lands.
These attacks form part of a broader policy targeting Bedouin communities from Mikhmas to Wadi an-Nar, where colonizers have established around 23 illegal colonialist outposts used as bases for daily assaults, aiming at the forced displacement of Palestinian Bedouins.
– Jabal al-Mukaber, al-Shayyah Neighborhood: Israeli authorities issued a demolition order against a sheep pen that serves as the livelihood of a seven-member Palestinian family.
The demolition notice, to be carried out within a week, is linked to the occupation’s colonial “bridge project” planned in the area, underscoring the systematic targeting of Palestinian families’ economic survival in occupied Jerusalem.
