Israeli forces invaded, before dawn on Wednesday, the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, bombed at least one home, injuring a young man, abducted one, and destroyed infrastructure and civilian property.
Media sources said that a large army force stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp before dawn, from several entrances.
Several armored vehicles, accompanied by bulldozers, infiltrated the city of Jenin from several entrances while reconnaissance drones and Apache helicopters flew overhead.
It was added that the army positioned its sharpshooters on the rooftops of several citizens’ homes.
Military bulldozers demolished infrastructure near the Al-Wakala School, the Al-Awda Roundabout, the Martyr Shirin Abu Aqla, and the Al-Zahra, the Al-Hadaf, and Al-Jabriyat neighborhoods.
Occupation forces destroyed many vehicles and retaining walls in the camp and on Haifa Street in the city.
Local Palestinian resistance fighters and young men protested the military incursion in many areas of the city and its camp.
Later, media sources added that an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at a home in the Sharqiya neighborhood in eastern part of the city.
The bombing caused the moderate injury of at least one Palestinian young man who was subsequently transported to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, soldiers abducted the young man, Muhammad Al-Kanar from the Jenin camp and detained a volunteer ambulance driver, before withdrawing from the city and its camp.
In related news, Palestine TV reported that a large army force invaded the village of Jalbun, east of Jenin, on Wednesday afternoon.
