With the beginning of the 145th day of the war on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, Israeli bombing continued in various areas in the Gaza Strip, especially Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis, and Rafah, while the World Food Program warned of an imminent famine in the northern Strip.

6 Palestinians were killed, and 22 others were injured, in the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of Gaza City. The Wafa News correspondent reported that 3 martyrs died from critical injuries sustained by shrapnel from Israeli occupation army artillery shells, while waiting for aid trucks on the Harun al-Rashid coastal road, west of Gaza City, where they were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, west of the city.

The Israeli occupation aircraft bombed two houses in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, and a third in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, resulting in three killed and the injury of 6 Palestinians, who were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in the city.

The Israeli occupation warplanes bombed homes in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, resulting in killed and wounded. Ambulances were unable to reach the targeted locations due to continuous gunfire and artillery shelling.

Israeli artillery also fired 10 shells at citizens’ homes in the Al-Sabra and Al-Rimal Al-Janobi neighborhoods in Gaza City, causing injuries among citizens.

In the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation aircraft carried out seven raids on the eastern and central regions, leaving dozens of civilians injured.

This comes after a day in which 96 Palestinians were killed in Gaza and three were killed in the West Bank. The Palestinian resistance announced that it had waged fierce battles with the occupation forces in the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, confirming the deaths and injuries of Israeli soldiers.

The Israeli occupation army reported that two officers were killed and seven others from the Givati ​​Brigade were wounded in battles in the northern Gaza Strip last night.

The army explained in a statement on Wednesday that the two dead were a company commander in a battalion affiliated with the Givati ​​Brigade and a platoon commander in the same battalion, and confirmed that the seven wounded were seriously injured.

The Israeli Soroka Hospital announced that it received 47 injured soldiers during the past 24 hours, including 19 in serious condition. Two Israeli soldiers also died of a fungal infection contracted in Gaza, while 28 others are infected.

The hospital explained that it had received 2,790 Israeli soldiers with injuries of varying degrees of severity since the beginning of the war on Gaza. 582 Israeli soldiers have been killed since October 7th.

The Israeli army spoke in a previous statement about fighting fierce battles in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, and claimed to have killed what it described as “dozens of militants” in face-to-face clashes and in air strikes.

As the aggression against the Gaza Strip enters its 145th day, with the death toll rising to 29,878 martyrs and 70,215 injured.
