Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man and wounded a child, on Friday night, near the Cinema Roundabout in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported the body of a young man to the hospital, adding that he was killed after sustaining live gunshot wounds to the neck and abdomen.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 25-year-old Mohammad Adnan Yousef Salama was killed by occupation forces in Jenin city.
The PRCS also reported that their ambulance crews transported a Palestinian child (15) to the hospital after he sustained shrapnel wounds from live ammunition while he was near the Cinema Roundabout.
Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded a number of neighborhoods in Jenin city, deployed infantry units in the Cinema Roundabout in the city center, and opened fire with live ammunition.
Additionally, the army stormed the vicinity of the Jenin Governmental Hospital and the Al-Amal Hospital, and abducted an unidentified young man.
Since January 21, 2025, the Israeli army has continued its siege and aggression against the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp.
In that time, the occupation has completely destroyed more than 600 homes and partially destroyed 1000 housing units, in the Jenin refugee camp, forcibly displacing at least 22,000 Palestinians from their homes.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 216 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 39 children and 6 women.
Occupation forces have killed 72 Palestinians in Jenin, 38 in Nablus, 29 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 17 in Hebron, 17 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 7 in Jerusalem, 6 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho, according to the Shireen Observatory.
In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 67,211 including women and children, while at least 169,961 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
