On Friday night, occupation forced shot a Palestinian child with live ammunition in the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Israeli colonizers set fire to large areas of agricultural lands in Arraba town, southwest of the city.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 14-year-old child to the hospital after he was shot with live ammunition while he was in the vicinity of the Grand Mosque in Jenin city.

Medical sources at the Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital said the child sustained a live gunshot wound to the knee and described the injury as moderate.

Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded the center of the city and deployed infantry units near the main roundabout, Abu Bakr Street, and the Al-Sibbat neighborhood, while firing live rounds towards citizens.

The sources added that the soldiers forced the owners of commercial shops to close their businesses near the main roundabout, and stopped several vehicles on Abu Bakr Street while inspecting the identities of their occupants.

Since January 21, 2025, Israeli forces have carried out a military campaign against the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, killing 56 Palestinians and wounding more than 200 others.
