Three Palestinian families were forced, on Saturday, to demolish their homes in the village of Qalandia, and the towns of Silwan and Beit Hanina, in the Jerusalem Governorate.
The Israeli municipality ordered a Palestinian citizen to demolish his own house in the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate the citizen Nabil Al-Ramouni demolished his family’s home in Beit Hanina, after an order from the Israeli occupation municipality.
The Governorate added that the home measured an area of 90 square meters and provided shelter for Al-Ramouni, his wife, and their seven children.
It is important to mention that the Al-Ramouni family home was built 15 years ago, and the family continues to pay the 35,000 shekel fine imposed by the Israeli occupation.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian family continued to demolish six additional homes in the village of Qalandia, north of Jerusalem, after demolishing a seventh house on Friday.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli authorities forced the Awadallah family to demolish six homes in Qalandia village, north of occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The Governorate added that on Friday, the citizen Raafat Joudah Awadallah was compelled to knock down his home in Qalandia village, after unsuccessful attempts to appeal the demolition order.
Occupation forces notified Awadallah on Wednesday of the demolition order, giving him 72 hours to carry out the demolition, leaving Awadallah, his wife, and their five children without shelter.

Furthermore, another Palestinian family was forced to demolish their home in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that occupation authorities forced the citizen Mujahid Imad Badran to demolish his family home in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan town.
The Governorate added that the Badran family home, which provided shelter to Badran, his wife, and their three children, was built in 2019 and measured an area of 75 square meters.
It indicated that the Badran family continues to pay a 75,000 shekel fine, imposed on them by the occupation authorities.
According to Article 17 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
1. Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.
2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states that,
Individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory to the territory of the Occupying Power or to that of any other country, occupied or not, are prohibited, regardless of their motive.
