Illegal Israeli colonizers wounded at least seven Palestinians, on Saturday, after invading the village of Madama, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews were arrived in Madama village after receiving reports of seven wounded citizens, including an elderly man and two women.

The PRCS reported that among the injuries were an elderly man (72) who sustained a live gunshot wound to the leg, a 53-year-old man who was shot in the thigh, and another citizen (46) who was shot in the face with live bullet fragments, adding that occupation forces obstructed their ability to reach the wounded.

Among the remaining four wounded Palestinians were two women who sustained various injuries after being brutally assaulted by the invading settlers; the conditions of those injured were not known at the time of this report.

Rami Nassar, the head of the Madama Village Council, told the WAFA News Agency that dozens of settlers, coming from a newly established colonial outpost north of Madama village, stormed the village and attacked Palestinian shepherds in the area.

Nassar added that the illegal colonizers opened fire towards citizens and assaulted others, while the army stormed the area and closed roads leading to the area with occupation army and the closure of the roads leading to the area with earth mounds and iron gates.

In related news, illegal colonizers damaged citizens’ homes and vehicles, on Saturday morning, after storming the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

Media sources reported that a number of illegal settlers infiltrated the “Bir Fawza” area of ​​Beita town and hurled rocks at citizens’ homes and vehicles, damaging the windows of several vehicles.
