Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child on Tuesday after invading the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 15-year-old boy to the hospital after he suffered an eye injury.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the Qalandia camp, and fired rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at citizens, resulting in the child being injured.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the Qalandia camp, stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles on the main street, and fired tear gas canisters at citizens after storming the town of Kafr Aqab.

In related news, occupation forces shot a Palestinian child on Monday night after invading the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The soldiers opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens, shooting a 14-year-old child in the shoulder with live ammunition.
