Israeli forces shot two young men on Sunday night in Ath-Thahiriya town, southwest of Hebron, and wounded others earlier during their suppression of a peaceful anti-colonization protest in the same town. Also on Sunday, a 58-year-old citizen died of gunshot wounds he sustained after soldiers fired at his vehicle in Hebron city, on Saturday night.
On Sunday night, occupation forces shot two Palestinian young men after invading the town of Ath-Thahiriya, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the center of Ath-Thahiriya town and opened fire at Palestinian youths, shooting two young men with live ammunition.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) that its ambulance crews transported two young men to the Ath-Thahiriya Health Center and then to the hospital after they sustained live gunshot wounds to their legs.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers injured a number of Palestinian citizens and abducted a journalist during an anti-colonization demonstration held in the town of Ath-Thahiriya.
Media sources reported that during a non-violent protest against further Israeli colonization, occupation forces targeted farmers participating in the demonstration in addition to journalists covering the event.

The sources added that several citizens suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation and abducted the journalist Yasser Jaradat, taking him to an undisclosed location.
Earlier Sunday, a Palestinian citizen succumbed to his wounds after being shot with live ammunition by occupation forces in Hebron city the night before.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the citizen Shaker Falah Ahmed Al-Ja’bari (58 years old) died of wounds he sustained on Saturday night, adding that the army continues to withhold his body.
Media sources reported that the army opened fire at Al-Ja’bari’s vehicle while he was traveling in the “Khallat Hadour” area in Hebron city, before blocking ambulance crews and abducting him while he was injured.
