On the 46th day since the resumption of genocide in Gaza, Israeli occupation forces continue to bombard various areas of the devastated coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians since dawn on Friday. Gaza is facing an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by relentless airstrikes, a suffocating siege, and the severe lack of aid supplies.

Many civilians, including children and women, were killed, and several others were wounded in the early hours of Friday as Israeli airstrikes targeted residential areas in central and northern Gaza.

Media sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes bombed a home near Al-Ahli Club in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, resulting in multiple casualties.

Israeli forces also carried out airstrikes on agricultural lands west of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and deployed drones to hit locations in the Zeitoun and Turkman neighborhoods in eastern Gaza.

In a separate attack, an Israeli airstrike destroyed the home of Khalil Abu Zeina in Al-Bureij refugee camp, central Gaza, killing eight Palestinians: Abu Zeina himself, his wife Ni’ma, Ahmad Abu Zeina, Islam Dahbash, elderly woman Hoda Fayyad, and three others whose identities remain unconfirmed.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of Al-Bureij camp and the northern part of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Meanwhile, in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, an Israeli helicopter strike on an apartment in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood left three civilians wounded, including a woman and an infant.

A Palestinian child, Rashid Mohammad Najjar, was killed, and several residents were injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced Palestinians in the Qizan Najjar area of Khan Younis.

Also, a Palestinian, Mohammad Suleiman Najjar, succumbed to serious wounds he suffered a few days ago when the army bombarded his family’s home in Khan Younis, killing his father and his brother, and causing many injuries.

Additionally, one Palestinian succumbed to severe wounds sustained when Israeli forces bombarded tents of displaced families in Mawasi Khan Younis.

Another airstrike in the Shahayda area, east of Abasan Al-Kabira town in Khan Younis, injured a mother and her two children.

Israeli warplanes also bombed a home on the outskirts of Al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Younis.

In Rafah, located in Gaza’s southernmost region, Israeli occupation forces demolished residential blocks in the Mosbeh area as part of an ongoing assault aimed at dismantling infrastructure and forcibly displacing residents.

Amid the worsening humanitarian conditions, the World Food Programme issued a dire warning, stating that the hunger crisis has reached a critical stage, with malnutrition threatening to cause fatalities.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has warned of an imminent collapse of humanitarian operations in Gaza amid rapidly deteriorating conditions and ongoing Israeli attacks.

In a statement issued on Friday, the ICRC stressed that the worsening security situation in Gaza is severely hindering the work of its staff and humanitarian partners.

“Without immediate action, Gaza will descend into chaos beyond the capacity of humanitarian efforts to mitigate,” the statement read.

The PRCS highlighted that civilians in Gaza are being deprived of essential resources needed for survival, and emphasized the urgent necessity of resuming aid deliveries, warning that without immediate action, its humanitarian programs in the enclave will no longer be viable.

The ICRC also underscored the need to respect and protect medical personnel and facilities under all circumstances, urging authorities to allow humanitarian aid into the besieged territory without delay.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has prioritized the continuation of the assault on Gaza over the recovery of Israeli captives, a stance that has drawn sharp criticism from their families.

The Israeli daily Israel Hayom reported that the military is gearing up for an intensified offensive in Gaza and could summon reservists sooner than originally planned.

Similarly, Channel 12, citing army sources, indicated that the Israeli military is expected to call up additional reserve forces soon.

Additionally, an Israeli military source, quoted by Channel 12, stated that the army is currently experiencing a shortage of approximately 10,000 troops.

The source emphasized that 2025 will be a year of intensified bombardment, with military efforts concentrated on Gaza and Iran.

The Israeli military is escalating its onslaught in Gaza and preparing to deploy additional reserve forces.

It is worth mentioning that an Israeli military drone attacked, in international water, the “Freedom Flotilla” heading to Gaza to deliver humanitarian supplies.

The vessel sustained two direct strikes to its front, igniting a fire and causing a breach in the hull. It remains in international waters near Malta, where an SOS distress signal has been issued.

More than two million Palestinians in Gaza are facing the threat of starvation as Israeli forces block the entry of 116,000 tons of nearby food supplies, according to the World Health Organization.

Continuous Israeli airstrikes have devastated healthcare facilities, cutting off a crucial lifeline for Palestinians in the besieged enclave.

World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that Palestinians in Gaza are dying from treatable illnesses while essential medications remain stuck in aid trucks stranded at the border.

He emphasized that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, as Israel has obstructed aid deliveries for two months.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that Israeli forces have killed 38 Palestinians in the past 24 hours, including children and women. Nine were killed at dawn, while dozens more were wounded.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 52,418, the majority of whom are children and women, in addition to thousands who remain under the rubble since October 7, 2023, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them. More than 118,091 Palestinians, largely children and women have been injured since October 7, while many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble with emergency services unable to reach them.
