Israeli Navy attack Gaza fishermen, meanwhile Israeli troops hand out 30 demolishing orders to West Bank families. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli navy attacked on Thursday morning Palestinian fishing boats near the coast of Gaza city. Troops opened fire at the fishing boats forcing them to go back to shore.
Another such attack was also reported near the coast of Beit Lahyia city in northern Gaza Strip. Damage was reported but no injuries in both attacks.
Earlier in the week a navy attack targeting Palestinian fishermen off Gaza city shoreline left one fishermen critically injured on Tuesday.
In the meantime, Israeli army tanks and bulldozers invaded farm lands near the central Gaza borders with Israel. The invading bulldozers damaged Palestinian crops before leaving, local sources reported.
Elsewhere, Israeli troops invaded several residential communities in Masafer Yatta area, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and delivered around 30 demolition orders to residents.
The orders include a school, residential sheds and tents, barns, and a water well. Soldiers placed the demolition orders on the ground near the targeted buildings and structures. Troops also photographed the structures from several directions.
The military order only grant the residents three days to file appeals, which doesn’t give them enough time, especially due to the weekend. Before leaving the area soldiers demolished a water well that is used by residents to store drinking water.
In related news, The Israeli High Court authorized, Thursday, the demolition of the family home of Fadi Ahmad al-Qanbar, who was killed six weeks ago, after ramming and killing four Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem.
The court said that the demolition was an “acceptable punishment,” and alleged that al-Qanbar family “knew about his intentions before he carried out the attack.”
Also on Thursday, Israeli troops abducted 22 Palestinian civilians during dawn invasions and home searches targeting West Bank communities. Invasions were reported in East Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah Nablus and Jenin.
