Troops injuries a Palestinian teenager as army bulldozers level a bedwin home in the Negev. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, Thursday, a Palestinian teenage girl, near Mavo Dotan illegal Israeli colony, built on Palestinian lands, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, reportedly after she stabbed a soldier.

Israeli sources said the girl suffered a severe injury, after the soldiers shot her in the stomach, while the wounded soldier sustained a mild injury and was moved to a hospital.

The girl, later identified as Nawf Enfei’at, 16,  received treatment at the scene, and was later moved to a hospital.

Following the incident, the army closed the main Palestinian road, linking between the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarem, also blocking traffic to all villages and towns near Jenin city.

Elsewhere, Dozens of Israeli police officers, accompanied by bulldozers, invaded at dawn, Thursday, the village of al-Liqya, in the Negev, and demolished a Palestinian home, reportedly for being built without a permit.

The soldiers surrounded the entire village, and declared it a closed military zone, before invading it and demolishing the property.

The destruction is part of Israel’s illegal policies against the indigenous Palestinians in the Negev, in order to replace them with settlements and shopping centers.

There are around 240.000 Palestinians living in the Negev, at least half of them reside in villages and dwellings that have been inhabited for hundreds of years.

Although these communities predate Israel, consecutive Israeli governments refuse to recognize them, and continue to consider them ‘illegal.”
