One youth injured others detained during army invasions targeting west Bank communities. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Several Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Tuesday at night, the town of al-Khader, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and clashed with many local youngsters, before shooting a Palestinian, who was driving his motorcycle, and abducted him.

Soldiers clashed with many youngsters, who hurled stones at the invading military jeeps, while the army fired gas bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets and concussion grenades.

The wounded Palestinian,  Dia’ Salah, 24, who happened to be driving his motorcycle when the soldiers invaded the town, was shot with a gas bomb in his back, and fell onto the ground, before the soldiers abducted him. The incident took place close to the Nashash military roadblock, at the southern entrance of al-Khader.

Israeli soldiers illegally confiscated, on Tuesday, a garbage truck owned by Qabalan town council, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Soldiers chased the garbage truck near Yanoun area, close to Aqraba town, and forced the driver out before taking the truck to Huwwara military base, south of Nablus.

The driver was heading to an area dedicated to garbage disposal when the soldiers stopped him, and the army did not even give him a reason for the takeover of the truck.

In other news, Israeli soldiers and police officers, accompanied by bulldozers, invaded the Bedouin Palestinian village of Al-‘Arakib, in the Negev, and demolished it for the 116th consecutive time. Al-Arakib has been fighting an ongoing battle for recognition since the establishment of Israel in 1948.

Although the villagers have land deeds and receipts of paid taxes dating back to Ottoman times, the Israeli authorities do not accept these as valid.
