Israeli troops kidnap more than two dozen civilians during invasions targeting West Bank communities. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers have kidnapped, late at night and on Wednesday, at least 43 Palestinians, including children a legislator, in different parts of the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem office of the PPS said the soldiers kidnapped 20 Palestinians from Jerusalem, most of them from Shu’fat refugee camp, in addition to Beit Hanina, Abu Dis, Wadi al-Jouz and Qalandia refugee camp.

In the southern West Bank district of Hebron, the soldiers kidnapped eight Palestinians, including a legislator. At the nearby Bethlehem district, the army kidnapped one Palestinian from al-Khader town. In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped five Palestinians from Budros town.

The soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians in Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank, n Qabatia town, also in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, the soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians. meanwhile In Jericho, the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians from Fasayel town.

In other news, Former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Perez, a.k.a. the “Godfather of the Oslo Accords” has died at the age of 93, after suffering a stroke. Shimon Perez will primarily be remembered for the 1993 Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Perez earned this “honorary title” when he openly admitted that Israel’s long-term strategy aims at negotiating as much as necessary to buy time to implement the plans for a greater Israel.
