The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported, Monday, that a detainee is ongoing with a hunger strike he started twenty days ago, protesting his ongoing arbitrary Administrative Detention in Israeli prisons.
The PPS said the detainee is al-Ghadanfar Abu Atwan, 28, from Doura town, southwest of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
It added that the detainee started the strike twenty days ago, protesting his ongoing Administrative Detention without charges or trial.
It is worth mentioning that Abu Atwan was abducted in October of the year 2020, and was slapped with Administrative Detention orders.
The detainee is also a former political prisoner who was abducted several times in the year 2013 and also held a hunger strike in the year 2019 protesting being held under the Administrative Detention orders.
