Palestinian medical sources have confirmed that a young man succumbed to serious wounds he suffered, last Saturday, when the Israeli army invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and killed a child.
Fawwaz Hammad, the director of Ar-Razi Hospital in Jenin, confirmed the death of Rabea Faisal Zakarna, 20, from Qabatia.
He added that the soldiers shot Rabea with live fire, inflicting serious wounds, before he was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery, but remained in a critical condition until he succumbed to his wounds.
During the invasion the soldiers fatally shot a Palestinian child, Motasem Nabil Abu Aabed, 13, and injured several Palestinians.
Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 456 Palestinians, and injured 7.619, including children, in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.
