Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Thursday, twenty Palestinians, including one who was shot in the leg, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, after the army invaded many communities and violently searched dozens of homes, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has confirmed.

The PPS office in Hebron, in southern parts of the West Bank, said the soldiers abducted nine Palestinians, including one child and one woman, from several parts of the governorate.

It said that the soldiers abducted Yahia Sadeq Jahshan, Mohammad Mahmoud Sa’adi, Mohammad Hilmi Aqel, and Thaer Jamal Midya, from Halhoul town, north of Hebron.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers first Thaer’s brother, Samer Midya, to force him to turn himself in to the army, and release him after his brother was taken prisoner.

In addition, the soldiers abducted Saber Ibrahim Najjar, 25, from Ethna town, west of Hebron, in addition to Soheir Ahmad al-Batran, the wife of a political prisoner, identified as Omar Issa Sleimiyya.

In Safa town, in Beit Ummar north of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Bassam Qowqas, 17, and Abdul-Aziz Mohammad Qowqas, 18.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Osama Mahmoud Sa’adi, and a former political prisoner, identified as Nateq Bassam Hantouli, who was shot with a live round in the leg before he was taken prisoner.

In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud al-Sabti and Issa Nathmi Hashash, from their homes in Balata refugee camp.

In Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Tha’er Jamil Bani Odah, after invading his home in Tammoun town, east of the city.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ata Zidani, Ezzeddin Fayez Rahima, and a former political prisoner, identified as Saddam Taiseer al-Asmar, from Beit Rima town, west of Ramallah.

In Betunia town, west of Ramallah, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Mohannad Jaradat, while Odai Abu Shamma, from the al-Baloa’ town, in al-Biereh city.

In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Ibrahim Oweiss, 30, from the ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem.
