On Saturday evening, just an hour after the soldiers withdrew from the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, after killing a child and wounding many Palestinians, mostly children, the soldiers reinvaded the refugee camp, and shot a young man.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the refugee camp, just one hour after withdrawing from it, stormed and ransacked homes, and deployed sharpshooters on tall buildings while military drones flew overhead.

They added that the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the arm before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Nablus.

In the earlier invasion, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a neighborhood in the refugee camp, killing a child, Luay Mohammad Mesheh, 17, and wounding at least nine Palestinians, two seriously.

Israel has now killed 593 Palestinians, including 143 children, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

In the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells have killed more than 41 Palestinians, and injured at least 103, in several parts of the coastal enclave in 24 hours, bringing the number of slain Palestinians since October 7 to at least 39.258 and the wounded to 90.589, the majority of whom are civilians.
