On Friday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Qalqilia city, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, storming homes before abducting a Palestinian and assaulting another. The soldiers also abducted another Palestinian near Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Media sources reported that several military vehicles invaded the J’eidi neighborhood in Qalqilia, storming and ransacking homes before abducting a Palestinian identified as Ammar Thiab.
The sources added that the soldiers also stormed the home of Mohammad Dalo, assaulting him and detaining his family in one room while ransacking the property.
During the violent search, the soldiers assaulted Mohammad, causing damage to the furniture and belongings, and confiscated gold jewelry.
In Jenin, the soldiers invaded Al-Yamun town, west of the city, and abducted Majd Farajat, 18, after storming his family’s home and ransacking it.
Montaser Mansour, the head of the Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said Farahat is a former political prisoner who was abducted when he was a child and was released a year ago.
Also at dawn, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian man east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, after failing to find his son, whom they initially sought to arrest.
