Israeli soldiers abducted, Wednesday, a former political prisoner from Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, after summoning him for interrogation.

Kamal Bani Odah, the head of the Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said the soldiers abducted Yazan Monjed Maslamani, 23.

He added that the army summoned Maslamani for interrogation at the Salem military base, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and abducted him once he arrived there.

Also, the soldiers abducted five Palestinians on Wednesday evening and assaulted two of them after leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque following evening prayers in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians, including a former political prisoner and a child, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
