At dawn on Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian in Deir Al-Ghusoon town, north of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank.

Media sources reported that military vehicles invaded the town, closing streets and intersections.

The soldiers broke into and searched several homes, causing damage, and abducted a young man, Amir Hasan.

In Jenin, located in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Silat al-Harithiya town, northwest of Jenin, closing streets while military drones flew overhead.

During the invasion, the soldiers damaged the gate of the local high school at the town’s entrance and broke into a nearby home, ransacking it.

As of early April, over 9,900 Palestinians remain in Israeli prisons, including 3,498 administrative detainees, 400 children, and 27 women. Among Gaza detainees, 1,747 have been labeled as “illegal combatants” by Israeli authorities, a designation that excludes many others, especially those held in military camps.

Before October 7, 2023, Israeli prisons held more than 5,250 detainees, including 40 women, 170 children, and approximately 1,320 administrative detainees.
