Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday evening, a young Palestinian man at the al-Jalama military roadblock, north of Jenin, in northern West Bank.

Montaser Sammour, the head of the Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said the soldiers abducted Karim Salama, 20, and took him to an unknown destination.

He added that the soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards at the roadblock, causing a traffic jam.

In addition, Israeli soldiers, stationed at the Mabo Dothan military roadblock, near Ya’bad town, south of Jenin, detained and interrogated four young men, before releasing him a few hours later.

The young men, all from Ya’bad town, have been identified as Karam Omar Jalouli, Saher Khaled Mekhel, Ayman Hosni Thiab ,and Bader Hasan Jawabra.
