On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers assaulted and injured a Palestinian journalist who works at the Media Department of the Polytechnic University in Hebron after stopping her at the Container Roadblock, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers attacked the woman, Sondos Al-Talbishi, when she used her mobile phone to film and document their obstruction of Palestinian traffic and interrogating the residents while trying to cross the roadblock.

The soldiers forced the woman out of a car and assaulted her, causing various cuts and bruises, although she wore a press vest.

Sondos said the soldiers took her to a room at the roadblock, struck and kicked her with their military boots, especially on her legs, and hurled insults at her.
