On Monday, many Israeli military vehicles invaded the town of al-‘Isawiya, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, before demolishing two barns and one room.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said several military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the town after surrounding it and isolating it.
It stated that the soldiers demolished two barns and one agricultural shed consisting of three rooms, owned by Ziad Mustafa.
Silwanic also said that the soldiers also caused damage to agricultural tools and equipment, and added that Mustafa’s farm is in the eastern area of Al-‘Isawiya where Israel is planning to confiscate more Palestinian lands for its E1 illegal colonialist project.
Earlier Monday, Israeli forces demolished two Palestinian homes in Salfit and Ramallah, displacing their residents in the occupied West Bank’s central region.
Since the beginning of 2025, Israeli forces have demolished at least 646 structures across the West Bank, including 65 in occupied Jerusalem, displacing more than 780 Palestinians, among them 245 children.
While Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, Palestinian communities and towns in occupied Jerusalem and various areas in the occupied West Bank continue to be denied the right to build homes and property under various allegations meant to prevent the expansion of Palestinian towns and neighborhoods.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
