Several Israeli army jeeps invaded, Sunday, Deir Ghassana Palestinian village, northwest of Ramallah, in central West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the village and started stopping the Palestinians and their cars on its main road.

They added that the soldiers searched many cars and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Several Palestinian youngsters hurled stones at the invading army jeeps, while the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs; no injuries were reported.

Earlier Sunday, the soldiers abducted eight Palestinians from the West Bank governorates of Hebron, Nablus, and Jerusalem.
