Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian young man on Wednesday, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, while illegal colonizers attacked and wounded a number of citizens in the Nablus and Ramallah governorates.
On Wednesday afternoon, occupation forces shot a young man while he was riding his motorcycle near the Jenin refugee camp.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 28-year-old man to the hospital after he was shot in the thigh with live ammunition.
Meanwhile, the army also invaded the towns of Silat al-Harithiya and Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin, and abducted two young men after storming their homes.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), the army broke into the homes of Ahmad and Abdul Hadi Nasser Abahra, before abducting them.
Occupation forces stormed the town of Silat al-Harithiya, and invaded several homes, detaining an unknown number of citizens; no arrests were reported.
Meanwhile, several Palestinians sustained inhalation injuries during a military incursion into the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces invaded Al-Mughayyir village, positioned units in several neighborhoods and fired many tear gas canisters towards citizens’ homes, causing a number of residents to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, illegal Israeli settlers assaulted three citizens, including two women near Nablus and Ramallah, in the northern and central parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that a group of colonizers infiltrated the “Qamas” area between the towns of Osarin and Beita, south of Nablus, and assaulted a woman and her daughter; they were transported to the hospital.
In the central West Bank, another group of colonizers stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, detained and assaulted the farmer Abdul Rahim Khaled Muaitan and attempted to steal his livestock.
Earlier, settlers set fire to two vehicles and scrawled racist graffiti on citizens’ property in the village of Taybeh, northeast of Ramallah.
