On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man, injured others, confiscated a home, and burned a vehicle, in several towns and villages in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah.

Occupation forces shot, at dawn Sunday, a Palestinian young man while he was driving his vehicle near the town of ‘Arura, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers opened fire towards a vehicle, shooting a 23-year-old man with live rounds in the back; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Sources added that occupation forces invaded the village of Deir Nidham, northwest of Ramallah; no abductions were reported.

Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, confiscated a home, and caused injury to citizens.

According to Marwan Sabah, the head of the Umm Safa village council, an Israeli infantry force stormed the village from the eastern and western sides, and positioned themselves in the village center, and forced shops to close, and imposed a ban on movement.

Sabah added that soldiers smashed the doors and stormed an under-construction house belonging to the citizen, Fayez Qana, in the center of the village, while firing concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes.

He also mentioned that several citizens suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation as a result of the attack.

Furthermore, on Sunday evening, Israeli forces stormed the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, amidst the firing of live ammunition.


Media sources said that occupation forces erected a set up a military roadblock in the middle of the town; no abductions or injuries were reported.

Moreover, on Sunday night, occupation soldiers invaded the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah.

Media sources said that Israeli forces stormed the town and opened fire with concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens and their property.

Sources added that the tear gas canisters and concussion grenades fired by the soldiers, caused the burning of a vehicle belonging to the citizen, Tamer Shaher Fuqahaa.
