Updated: On Monday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, fatally shot a Palestinian child, shot seven Palestinians, including three children, and abducted twenty citizens.

In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed a child, identified as Hatem Sami Hisham Gheith, 12.

The Health Ministry stated that the soldiers shot the child in the abdomen, causing severe bleeding and serious laceration of his intestines.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics treated seven injured Palestinians, including the child, before rushing them to a hospital in Ramallah.

The PRCS added that all of the injured Palestinians were shot with live rounds, except one who was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet to the head.

One of the wounded Palestinians remains in a critical condition, after the soldiers shot him in the head.

During the invasion, the soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes, causing damage, and abducted eighteen Palestinians, including former political prisoners and siblings.

Media sources said that the soldiers abducted sixteen Palestinians from their homes, identified as Mohammad Zahran, Mahmoud Alqam, Ehab Shahrour, Ahmad Jihad Al-Sho’uani, Mousa Hazin, Mohammad Ishaq Yaqoub, Ehab Ibzei’, Karam Al-Bariya, Mohammad Hassan Al-Bariya, Ahmad Hassan Al-Louzi, Issa Jahjouh, Ahmad Jamal Al-Hout, Mousa Jahjouh, Ahmad Elian, Qobeil Hammad, and Ahmad Ali, in addition to Sharif Mohammad Zayed and his brother, Sa’id.

The soldiers also confiscated a luxury Palestinian vehicle during the invasion of the refugee camp, Quds News Network said.

On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians from Bethlehem governorate, in the occupied West Bank.

In Nablus, the soldiers invaded, Monday at dawn, several towns in the governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, stormed and ransacked homes, and abducted five Palestinians.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Beita town, south of Nablus, leading to protests, and caused at least ten Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Also, several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, after the soldiers invaded the town of Qusra, south of Nablus.

Also Monday, Palestinian Medical sources announced the death of Sheikh Ziad Abu Ehlayyel (66 years old) after he was violently assaulted by Israeli soldiers who stormed his home in the town of Doura, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
