The Israeli army abducted, on Sunday, fourteen Palestinians, including many former prisoners, and assaulted several of them, after storming their homes in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

Qalqilia

In the northwestern part of the West Bank, a special Israeli force abducted the two brothers, Majid and Salim Nazzal, who are both former prisoners, from the city of Qalqilia.

Nablus

In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli forces invaded, before dawn on Sunday, the villages of Rujeib and Deir al-Hatab, southeast and east of Nablus respectively.

The army stormed and searched many citizens’ homes which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.

In Rujeib, southeast of the city, soldiers surrounded and broke into several homes, while local youths confronted the attacking army.


The soldiers responded by firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades without causing any injuries.

Meanwhile, east of the city, the army stormed and vandalized many citizens’ home and assaulted their inhabitants.

Salfit

In the central West Bank, Israeli forces confiscated construction equipment belonging to the citizen, Ayman Assi, in the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit.

Jericho

In the Jordan Valley, Israeli forces abducted Muhammad Daoud Saad Fahidat, Osama Yousef Hassan Fahidat, and Ahmed Mahmoud Saad Fahidat, when they attempted to pass through a military roadblock at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho.

Ramallah and Al-Biereh

In the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted the Palestinian Birzeit university student, Ahmed Abu Marouf, after storming his family’s home in Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah.

On Sunday afternoon, Israeli forces abducted the former prisoner, Usaid Wajdi Al-Naasan, after assaulting him at his workplace in the village of Turmus’ayyeh, northeast of Ramallah.


Bethlehem

Israeli forces invaded Al-Khader town, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and abducted the former prisoner, Hisham Fawaz Ali Salah, 30, after breaking into his home.

It was added that the army invaded Al-Asakra village, southeast of Bethlehem, and stormed the home of the citizen Salim Taha Asakra.

Meanwhile, soldiers also stormed the towns of Al-Obaidya and Tuqu’, east and southeast of the city.

Hebron


Before dawn on Sunday, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Sa’ir and Al-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, and broke into several homes.

Soldiers interrogated and assaulted Palestinian citizens after storming and ransacking their homes, and caused damage.

In the morning, occupation forces abducted Saleh Tafesh Halayqa and confiscated his vehicle, after breaking into and ransacking his home in the town of Al-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron.

Meanwhile, soldiers invaded the the village of Carmel, south of Hebron, stormed and ransacked the home of Muhammad Musa Al-Haroush, in addition to closing the main roads in the village.

On Sunday evening, Israeli forces abducted Ahmed Abu Asaad, Shaddad Al-Masry and his son, Khaled Al-Natah, and Saree Abu Zalta, while they were on their own land near the Apartheid Wall, west of Idhna town, northwest of Hebron.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Israeli army have abducted at least 6,950 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
