The Israeli forces detained, on Monday, three Palestinian young men from their homes in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, in the central West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Local sources said, the soldiers detained a young man named Mohamed Shusha from his home in Husan town, west of Bethlehem.

In Jerusalem, the Israeli police detained a young Palestinian man identified as Imad Abeisan from his home in Silwan district, his brother Ali was also summoned by police, and subsequently detained after going to the police station.

Confrontations flared between Palestinian youths and the Israeli police, Sunday night, in al-‘Isawiya neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem, the PIC reported.

Local sources said that the Israeli police fired rubber-coated steel rounds, tear-gas canisters, and concussion grenades at the resisting youths and nearby civilian homes.

The Palestinian youths resisted the invasion of Israeli forces by showering them with rocks and firecrackers, which forced them to withdraw.

No injuries or detentions were reported.
