Israeli forces detained on Wednesday, 14 Palestinians from separate areas in occupied Jerusalem, including a woman and her son and another child.
Troops stormed the home of Jawaher Dana Shweiki (50 years) and detained her and her son Khaled (20 years), in Silwan town. Troops also searched homes in Silwan and handed a number of residents interrogation summonses.
Moreover soldiers and army intelligence officers stormed homes in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood, checked the identities of many residents, and delivered interrogation summons to others.
Meanwhile Israeli troops detained 12-year-old child, Abdel-Rahman Al-Salaymeh, from his home in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses also said that intelligence army officers and troops detained Muhammad Ibrahim Uweissat, from Jabal al-Mukaber in occupied Jerusalem, his father and brother where taken by occupation forces few days ago.
In addition Israeli forces detained 10 civilians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the towns of Shuafat and Hazmah in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
Four teenagers were taken by Israeli troops from Sheikh Jarrah, they were identified as Ali Dweik, Bilal Al-Jabari, Yazan Al-Husseini and Nabil Shreiteh.
From Hazma town, troops took two young men, Qusay Al-Khatib and Ahmed Nassif Saeed, after troops searched their relatives’ homes and questioned them.
Troops also stormed the town of Shuafat in occupied Jerusalem, and detained four young men from their homes, including two brothers. They were identified as Anan Nasser Abu Khdeir, Hakim Yousef Abu Khdeir, Seif and Muhammad Izzat Abu Khudair, local sources reported.
