On Tuesday, June 24th, Day 99 since the resumption of the genocide in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip on March 18 (and day 626 of the Israeli genocide against the people of Gaza), the Israeli army bombarded and shelled various parts of the coastal enclave, resulting in dozens of casualties.
The number of people killed by the Israeli occupation forces’ continuous airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Tuesday has risen to at least 90, 56 of whom were starving people struggling to get a bit of relief aid.
Since May 27th, when the US-based Christian Zionist company “GHF” took over aid distribution in the Gaza Strip, replacing 400 distribution sites with just 4 ‘Squid Game’ style arenas where Palestinians are forced to wait many hours, then fight each other for small scraps of food, massacres at the so-called ‘aid sites’ have become a daily occurrence, with an average of 30 – 50 Palestinians killed each day. These attacks have increased in recent days as the Israeli-funded gangs have been given more weapons by Israel to strong-arm aid and sell the aid for incredibly exorbitant prices.

A UN official condemned Israel’s killing of starving people in the Gaza Strip, describing what is happening there as a “massacre”.
This came in a media briefing on Gaza delivered by Jonathan Whittall, head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory, and republished by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) on Tuesday .
“What we are witnessing is a massacre, it is hunger being used as a weapon, it is forced displacement, it is a death sentence for people simply trying to survive, ” Whittall said.
The UN official continued: “These factors appear to constitute a process of erasing Palestinian lives from the Gaza Strip . ”

Since October 7 , 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the operation.
The genocide left more than 187,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and a famine that claimed the lives of many, including children, in addition to widespread destruction .

Several people were injured following an Israeli strike on the Fseifes neighborhood in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In the latest developments, a female citizen was killed when the Israeli occupation forces shelled a house east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Occupation aircraft also bombed a house in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip, and a house in the Saftawi area, north of Gaza City, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
Earlier, medical sources reported that the number of people killed while waiting to receive aid at a distribution point in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah had risen from 20 to 27. The number of people killed waiting for aid at the Shuhada’ Junction in the central Gaza Strip also rose from 26 to 29, after three people were seriously injured.
Eyewitnesses reported that a number of the killed were still lying on the ground near the Martyrs’ Junction, after it was impossible to retrieve them due to the occupation forces targeting the area with gunfire.

A number of Palestinian citizens were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid north of Rafah.
Medical sources reported that at least 20 civilians were killed and dozens more were injured, some seriously, after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians waiting to receive aid near an aid center northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources announced that 70 Palestinian citizens were killed by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 50 people waiting for aid.

Fourteen Palestinians were killed and others injured on Tuesday after the Israeli occupation forces bombed large areas in the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Al-Ma’madani Hospital reported that the death toll had risen to 10 following an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Three civilians were also killed and dozens injured when the occupation forces opened fire on those waiting for aid north of Rafah.
A citizen was killed and several others were injured as a result of Israeli artillery shelling of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, and an Israeli drone opened fire northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

At least 24 Palestinians were killed and dozens others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes early Tuesday morning targeting various areas in Gaza City and gatherings of civilians waiting for humanitarian aid south of Wadi Gaza, central Gaza Strip .
A WAFA correspondent reported that rescue and civil defense crews recovered five martyrs from under the rubble of a house that was bombed in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. They were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in addition to a number of wounded .
In a related development, medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported that the hospital received 19 Palestinians killed and 146 wounded as a result of shelling that targeted hundreds of citizens gathered to receive relief aid on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.

The sources explained that among the injured were 62 seriously injured, and they were transferred to hospitals in the central governorate to receive the necessary treatment.
In related news, seven Israeli soldiers were killed when an armored personnel carrier (APC) was struck by an explosive device in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza.
Israeli army spokesperson announced in a statement Wednesday.
According to Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, the explosion occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday in Khan Younis.
All seven soldiers were members of the Israeli military’s combat engineering battalion.
Israeli media described the incident as the most severe in Gaza since June 15, 2024, when eight soldiers from an engineering unit were killed after an APC was hit by an anti-tank missile in Rafah.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Palestinian fighters were able to attach an explosive device to the APC before fleeing undetected. Initial findings indicated that the device detonated directly against the Puma, causing a massive explosion that destroyed the vehicle and killed everyone inside.
The APC was reportedly part of a ground assault led by the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion under the 188th Armored Brigade, which is part of Division 36.
