Palestinian medical sources have confirmed, Monday, that two young men died from serios wounds they suffered when the Israeli army bombarded Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and in Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, during the recent Israeli escalation on the coastal region.
The sources said the Palestinian, Osama Ashraf Abu Reeda, 23, suffered life-threatening wounds during the Israeli offensive, and remained at the Intensive Care Unit after surgery, until he succumbed to his injuries.
Osama was from Khuza’a town, near Khan Younis.
In addition, another Palestinian, identified as Mahmoud Ammar Abu Jarad, from Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza strip, died from serious wounds he suffered on May 11.
It is worth mentioning that, on Monday evening, Palestinian search and rescue teams located the remains of four young Palestinian men under the rubble of a building in the al-Fakhari area, east of Khan Younis.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said the latest casualties bring the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army missiles and shells, during the eleven days of the Israeli offensive to 253.
