Israeli forces shot and injured, on Monday evening, two Palestinians, one seriously, in the central West Bank the village of al-Mazraa al-Gharbiyeh, northwest of Ramallah, according to Palestinian Security sources.

The sources told the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) that the army opened fire with live rounds, shooting and seriously injuring an unidentified 19-year-old youth in the back.

The young man was transferred to hospital for emergency treatment, his condition was reported as critical.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops fired rubber-coated steel rounds, injuring a 17-year-old child in the hand, neither the condition or identity of the teen was known at the time of this report.
