Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive invasions, home break‑ins, abductions, assaults, and movement restrictions across the occupied West Bank at dawn Wednesday, targeting multiple districts and imposing new closures that further disrupted civilian life.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp, broke into several homes, and abducted journalist and former member of the General Secretariat of the Journalists’ Syndicate, Hassan Abdul Jawad, 72, along with Adham Jamal Ibrahim Farraj, 28, after searching their homes.

In the western area of Dura, southwest of Hebron, Israeli forces assaulted Walid Ehneish, the head of the Sikka Village Council, during an invasion of the area. Soldiers also abducted Marwan Tmeiza, a driver employed by the village council. Local sources reported that the assault occurred near a home previously targeted by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, heightening tensions among residents who viewed the incident as part of a continuous pattern of violations.
The sources linked the assault and abduction to the presence of colonizers in the al Ajouri home, which had been seized earlier, describing the situation as a further escalation in the area.
Palestinian communities west of Dura have experienced repeated tensions, with local calls for protection of residents and their property and for an end to attacks targeting civilians and local officials.

Local officials reported that the closures have isolated Sinjil completely, raising the total number of sealed routes to six main entrances and sixteen agricultural and secondary roads.
