Israeli occupation authorities ordered three Palestinian families to demolish their own homes in the city of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
Media sources reported that the citizen Basem Siri demolished his son Mohannad’s house, in Beit Jala, which was under construction, in order to avoid paying the excessive fines that occupation forces would impose on them if the army carried out the demolition.
The citizens Mario Judi Abu Saad and Muhannad Barhoum demolished their inhabited homes in the city, in order to avoid heavy financial penalties if occupation forces carried out the demolition.
In related news, occupation forces stormed the home of the slain Farouk Ramadan in the town of Tell, southwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to the Secretary of the Fatah movement in Tell town, Issam Al-Saifi, reported that Israeli forces invaded Tell town and stormed the home of the slain Farouk Ramadan, notifying his family to evacuate within 72 hours.
Al-Saifi added that Israeli forces handed the family a notice to evacuate their three-story house within 72 hours, in preparation for its demolition.
On July 24, 2026, Israeli forces and colonizers killed four citizens and wounded four others, three critically, in the town of Tell.
The slain young men were identified as Farouk Adnan Ali Ramadan, 41, Ibrahim Hussein Ali Ramadan, 32, Jawad Hussein Ali Ramadan, 27, and Imran Ahmad Ali Ramadan, 37.
