Large groups of illegal Israeli colonizers stormed several areas in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, injuring many Palestinian civilians and 2 foreign journalists.
Media sources reported that several colonizers stormed the town of Qusra, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank
According to Abdul Azim al-Wadi, the mayor of Qusra, dozens of colonizers invaded the Ras al-Ain area, besieged a home and hurled rocks at it, while soldiers fired tear gas in the area.
Palestinians confronted the settlers, who assaulted them, resulting in 2 citizens suffering bruises, while military reinforcements arrived at the scene.
Both the army and the settlers obstructed the work of ambulance crews, before medics were able to provide treatment for seven citizens who sustained inhalation injuries and bruises.
The attack comes amid the ongoing siege of three Palestinian homes by illegal colonizers in Qusra town; the families inside the homes have been held hostage by colonizers, under army protection for 21 consecutive days.
In the nearby village of Jalud, a large group of colonizers attacked a Palestinian family and international journalists, injuring 2 citizens and foreign journalists.
Anti-settlement activist, Bashar al-Qaryouti reported that colonizers assaulted the elderly Mahmoud al-Toubasi and his wife, in addition to assaulting two journalists and smashing their vehicle.
He added that one of the international journalists sustained an injury to his hand, while the other sustained an injury to his back as a result of the attack.
Meanwhile, in the central part of the West Bank, attacked two elderly women and stole their phones and car keys in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah.
Media sources reported that a group of colonizers assaulted the two sisters Mona Mahmoud Hamed, 75, and Alia Mahmoud Hamed, 65, while they were picking figs from their land. They also stole their cell phones and car keys.
Furthermore, colonizers from the illegal “Emek Dotan” settlement, attacked Palestinians in the town of Arraba, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
The colonizers assaulted and injured two citizens while they were near the “Emek Dotan” settlement; they were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Later more colonizers stormed citizens’ agricultural land, assaulted and threatened citizens, and grazed their livestock in the town of Arraba.
Moreover, a group of armed colonizers stormed the Khallat al-Homs area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, assaulted citizens and pepper sprayed a foreign activist in the face; they were treated at the scene.
Also in Masafer Yatta, colonizers kidnapped a foreign activist in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, before Israeli police abducted him.
Colonizers also stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, attacked farmers, damaged their vehicle, and opened fire with live rounds; no injuries were reported.
Settlers stormed the village of Yasuf, east of Salfit in the central West Bank, and opened fire with live ammunition; no injuries were reported.
Amin Abu Aliya, the head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli colonizers, under army protection, invaded the western outskirts of the village.
Abu Aliyaa added that the colonizers grazed their livestock on citizens’ land and attempted to storm a house, before citizens confronted them.
Occupation forces fired tear gas canisters towards Palestinians resisting the attack, and assaulted a woman in the area.
