Illegal Israeli colonizers carried out additional attacks against Palestinian civilians in the Nablus, Jericho, and Jenin governorates, on Friday, while occupation forces injured a child in Bethlehem, and an elderly man in Nablus.
Israeli colonizers burned Palestinian-owned homes, vehicles, and land, in the town of Surra, west of Nablus in the northern West Bank, in addition to assaulting three citizens.
According to Naaman Abdullah, the mayor of Surra, dozens of settlers attacked the town from its western outskirts, assaulted three citizens, and burned six houses completely and partially, in addition to five vehicles, and dozens of dunams of agricultural land.
Palestinian residents rushed to defend their property and confronted the invading colonizers who assaulted three citizens, while occupation forces blocked others from reaching the area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported three citizens (20, 36, and 45) to the hospital after they sustained bruises and wounds as a result of the colonizer attack.
Meanwhile a Palestinian man was injured when a group of colonizers stabbed him in the back and assaulted him, after his vehicle malfunctioned on the Ma’arajat road northwest of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
A number of Palestinians sustained various injuries when illegal settlers attacked them in Khirbet Imreiha, near Ya’bad town, west of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Samer Abu Bakr, the Mayor of Ya’bad, told the WAFA News Agency that a group of colonizers stormed the Khirbet Imreiha, hurled rocks at citizens’ homes, assaulted their residents, and pepper-sprayed them, resulting in several citizens sustaining various injuries.
Furthermore, a number of illegal colonizers carried out another attack in the village of Urif, south of Nablus, on Friday evening, injuring one and burning a citizen’s home.
According to Mustafa Safadi, the head of the Urif village council, a group of settlers stormed the outskirts of the village, and set fire to a shed filled with equipment, and a citizen’s house.
For its part, the PRCS reported that its ambulance crews provided first aid to a young man who sustained injuries after the settlers assaulted him.
In related news, Israeli forces shot a child in the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank and an elderly man in the town of Surra, west of Nablus.
Media sources reported that occupation soldiers invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp on Friday night, and opened indiscriminate fire at citizens, resulting in a 16-year-old child being shot with live ammunition; his condition was not known at the time of this report.
Earlier, the army opened fire at a citizen’s vehicle at the entrance to the town of Surra, west of Nablus. The PRCS reported that its ambulance crews provided first aid to a 74-year-old citizen who sustained injuries as a result of bullet fragments from live ammunition.
